Welcome to Golden Light Games!
In case you missed our announcement earlier this year, Golden Light Dice is now Golden Light Games! This exciting step forward comes with new products, a new URL, and now (finally!) a new website. We’re thrilled to share this new digital space with you, and wanted to highlight a few key features of the site.
First, as I’m sure you’re aware if you’re reading this here, is the new blog-style News page. This is now the one-stop-shop for any and all updates on our products, drops, restocks, events, etc. We’re committed to keeping this up-to-date and comprehensive to any questions our community may have, so if anything is ever unclear… check here first!
Second is our updated Made To Order store, which you can navigate to through the link on our Shop page. The current plan is to leave this up permanently, though if demand surpasses our expectations we may transition to limited windows of availability. Here you’ll have access to our entire catalogue of dice designs (except for Daves, Petes, and other specialty dice), which Zen will craft specifically for you at their earliest convenience. Typical turnaround time is 3-6 weeks, and prices are slightly higher to reflect the personal service involved in this process. If there’s a design you’ve always hoped we would one day restock, this might be an exciting option for you!
Finally, it’s worth pointing out some of the new product offerings wrapped up in this rebrand. As the shift in our name from “Dice” to “Games” suggests, we’re branching out from the hand-crafted artisan dice that have been, and will continue to be, at the core of our business. To be extra clear, the dice aren’t going anywhere and we will continue to innovate and elevate this pillar of Golden Light. In addition to dice, we’re excited to bring our signature light fantasy aesthetic to other areas of gaming accessories and lifestyle goods. You’ll see that we’re already in the process of creating character class themed designs to be applied to tees, hoodies, totes, and notebooks. We also have a line of trading card game accessories launching this summer, which you can read more about in an upcoming blog post. And towards the end of the year we’re working towards publishing a small card game of our own! With each of these projects, our goal is to cohesively extend the Golden Light brand into new niches of the table top gaming hobby. Zen and I are both super excited for all that’s on the horizon, and hope that you are as well.
